Projects
10th Grade first semester Stranger In this Project we interviewed an immigrant from a different nation and made a documentary about them. I interviewed Eman Abdukadir who is an immigrant from Ethiopia. In this project I learned skill such as video editing, film producing, and interview skill that I will definitely use later in life. I also learned about the immigration process into the United States and the lengths in which migrants have to go to become American citizens. 9th grade second semester Breaking Bread 2016 In this project we learned how to bake bread. During this project we learned about bread makers around the world and its origins. This project integrated all subjects: Math, Humanities and Physics. I really enjoyed this project because it taught me leadership and teamwork skills. I hope you enjoy. |
9th grade first semester Wondering and Wandering with Water In this project learned about the San Diego River and other bodies of water. We started off by going on field trips and wondering about things that really interest us. We then chose our topics and broke up into partnerships that corresponded with our topics. After that we wrote a wondering essay about what we wondered about our topic to put in a mini- book that we would be making along with another essay which we made later. We also made a box out of wood to hold a poster about a project which we would showcase at exhibition. |
